Youth Forum

The Base believes that young people don’t need to be given a voice. They already have one and a strong one at that. What you need are outlets and opportunities for participation and active citizenship. The Base Youth Forum is offering an opportunity where youth participation is supported and developed.

The Base Youth Forum provides a place in which young people from Ballyfermot can participate in awareness raising, training/education and activities that promote their civic, social and political development.

A total of 14 young people aged between 16 and 18 from Ballyfermot are currently involved in the Base Youth Forum.

Youth Leadership Training, Team Building trips, community project developments are just a few examples of activities run by the Base Youth Forum…..
