What we do
The Base supports children and young people living in Ballyfermot and surrounding areas. The Base programmes, services and activities aid the personal, social, educational, psychological, physical and general well being of children and young people helping them to fully engage in society. The Base is operating from a newly constructed 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Ballyfermot which was financed by the EU, NDP and other Government funding. This facility is designed to provide children and young people with the kind of facilities that can match the programmes, services and activities they need. The Base Youth Centre and Childcare Facility opens late at night, weekends and Bank Holidays – times when it is needed most.
